Dual board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine, Dr. Celeste Thomas brings more than 30 years of experience in the diagnosis and management of autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders to Articularis Rheumatology Specialists. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Texas A&M University, followed by her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Dr. Thomas completed her internship at Chicago Medical School, her Internal Medicine residency at Loyola University Medical School, and went on to complete a fellowship there as well. Throughout her career, Dr. Thomas has proven herself an expert in providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients with complex conditions.
In addition to her clinical work, she has also served as Chair of the Ethics Committee at Memorial Herman the Woodlands Medical Center, reflecting her strong commitment to professional integrity and patient advocacy. When she is not practicing medicine, she spends as much time as she can with her children and grandchildren, loves traveling, and enjoys winding down and relaxing with a good fantasy book.
